To our youngest brother, a dedicated father, a devoted son, a committed employee, an avid sportsman and best friend to all he met. Kevin was loved by his many friends and relatives and will be sorely missed.

Kevin, we will miss you at the annual court parties. You were a great neighbor -- kind, generous and always willing to offer a hand. We won't forget you and to Brendan and the entire Hughes family, our deepest sympathy.

I first met Kevin in 1981 at General Electric in San Jose when we were in the Engineering Training Program together. He was a good friend as a workmate, a classmate, and as an opposing softball player after work. His many friends enjoyed Kevin's company at social occasions, and I particularly remember Kevin's 1983 Halloween costume. It certainly seems like yesterday. My deepest sympathy to all of Kevin's family and loved ones.

We love you Kevin!

I have known Kevin for about 10 years. He was fun and funny, a great host and guest at any social occasion. A great cook (except popcorn!)and conversationalist. Always cool as a cucumber and most of all an exceptional father to Brendan. My fondest memories are hanging out with him and "our gang"...having dinner, playing pool, attending local street fairs...lots of fun and laughs. He will be greatly missed.

Deepest Sympathy from an associate at GE, a softball team mate and friend. Kevin's comic recital of the adventures of "Bert and... going out east" still brings a chuckle.

I have known Kevin for several years and have always had the professional respect for his solid engineering capability. His broad understanding of the engineering world and its practical application was a unique and trusted source. We at CDS will miss Kevin professionally and I will miss him personally.

Respectfully,

Victor Smith

I began work with Kevin on the GE Engineering Training Program back in 1981 -- seems like yesterday. I will always remember Kevin as one of the important colleagues I started my engineering career with.

I enjoyed many years of playing softball with Kevin after work, and socializing at the occassional party. I have fond memories of a summer party Kevin hosted at his house -- where he heated his swimming pool to about 100 degrees (!!).

I truly feel a sense of loss with Kevin's passing. My deepest sympathies to Kevin's entire family -- I can only imagine the joy he brought to all of you.

We are friends of Kevin's from College. We had many great times together and even visited his first home in California. He was a great friend and will be sorely missed

Kevin made a lasting impression on everyone he met. He was more than a brother to me; he was a close friend who will sorely missed. His legacy will live on thru Brendan.

Kevin was a wonderful brother and friend. He was always a very caring person and full of love for life. Family was always first with Kevin. He will be terribly missed by us all.
