It is with great sadness that the family of LaDonne Gladys McGowan announces her passing after a brief and hard fought battle with cancer, Friday, August 17th 2018, at the age of 73 years. Preceded in death by her father Frank McGowan, mother Loraine Espinoza - McGowan and brother Douglas McGowan, LaDonne will be lovingly remembered by her aunt, Millie Lohr, cousins Virgil (Diane) Myers, Pamela (Bill) Frades, Betty (Manuel) Soto and their children, Laura Myers, Virgil Myers II, Fairica Churchill, Kaitlyn Frades, Tappetha Hossack, Melissa Butcher and Sabian Salinas.
Friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service Thursday, August 30, 2018 at 12:00 pm at LIMA & CAMPAGNA SUNNYVALE MORTUARY, 1315 Hollenbeck Ave., Sunnyvale. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Los Altos.

She was a neighbor of ours growing up and still lived down the street in the same house. When visiting with her recently we shared some wine, conversation and laughter. She brought meals to my mother and brother over the last year, although we knew she had her own illness to deal with. Rip LaDonne.

I worked with LaDonne at Berryessa Union School District, she was a School Psychologist for many years. I will always remember her fondly.
