Dearest Desola -- I thank God often for Lanre's ministry and strong love for our Lord Jesus! You both blessed my life. And I know that He doesn't call us home until "He has completed the good work He has begun in us." I know that Heaven rejoices when we go home and we hear those blessed words, "Welcome home my good and faithful servant." Although I am disheartened and feel saddened by your loss, I can't help but feel grateful for such a powerful life God had planted among us. You could have lived out your lives in Nigeria, but God brought you here and brought you to Jubilee and made us all richer and more blessed by the gift of you, Lanre, Tope, Tomi, Tayo, Tobi, Teni and Jimi! The love you shared with each other and the Agape Love you gave to your family at Jubilee magnifies the Lord! As I grow older and as I have been "fighting" cancer these past 3 years, I've focused on having faith, especially for healing and staying "in the Word". Being reminded of Lanre's life, I now just want to focus on sharing the Love of Jesus. I may not get well enough to catch up with you at church any time soon, but I know I'll meet up with all of you when we go home... and that may not be too far in the future. Thank you for your outreach and kindness and faith! Take good care of each other and may God bless you all tremendously.
Love, Miss Nancie Shulte

Dear Desola and children,
I'm as shocked and saddened as everyone else. I know what it means to lose a good and beloved father. I wish you the same strength and grace that God gave me and my siblings after our father's sudden and tragic death.
I wanted you to know that I never forgot Lanre Amos and family. I'll always remember how he would drive with you all to pick me up for church every Sunday without fail when I spent a few months in California. I remember his gentleness, easy-going nature, and love for God. You have a very special family and I know God will take care of you all. Thank you for your kindness toward me. May God reward you with His kindness in every way during this difficult time.

Desola and children,
I am still in shock over this horrible news. May God give you all the fortitude to bear the loss of your husband and father. Please accept my sincere condolences and take comfort in the fact that you had an amazing husband and father, not everyone can say that. I know that the ache in your heart is real. Be strengthened and we pray that one day the shock of the sudden passing of your husband and father will be replaced by the happy memories of your time together. God bless you all.
