Madeleine Crowley
Madeleine Crowley Nov 3, 1921- Oct 22, 2013 Resident of Cupertino, Ca Madeleine R. Crowley, 91, of Cupertino, was a 1943 graduate of Radcliffe College and a 1945 graduate of Yale Nursing School. For many years she worked as a career counselor at the Women's Resource Center in Palo Alto, and was active in many other community activities. Later in life she wrote two books, "Called To Rise" and " A Night Like Any Other". She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Dr. Lawrence G. Crowley, and is survived by her children Larry (Jill), Suzanne (Jose), Steve (Laura), 5 grand-daughters Wendy, Tracy, Kyle, Noa, Cameron, and 3 great granddaughters Brynn, Macy and Kate. Celebration of life service will be held January 18th at 11:00AM in the Sierra Room at the Forum in Cupertino. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Canine Companions for Independence.
