Marian Downs Obituary
Resident of Vacaville
Marian L (Chicki) Downs, affectionately known as "the Bra Lady" went home to be with her precious Savior Jesus Christ, her beloved husband Barney and sister Dotti Rackliffe on December 15, 2014.
In her 95 years she had an extraordinary life that impacted thousands of lives all over the world from her birthplace in Buffalo NY and home bases in Yonkers and Bethpage NY, Minneapolis and Richfield MN, San Jose and Vacaville CA.
The celebration of Chicki's life will be held this Sunday, December 21st, 3:00 PM at New Hope Christian Fellowship.4910 Allison Parkway, Vacaville CA 95688.
In lieu of flowers, please honor her life with donations to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Northern California Chapter, 455 Market Street #1190, San Francisco CA 94105 or www.CFF.org and select "donate now"

I just googled Chicki to recommend to a friend and saw that she passed last year, such a fun loving wonderful woman. I met yer 10 years ago shopping for undergarments for my wedding, and ever since went back and brought friends who also instantly fell in love with her and her products. Enjoy heaven Chicki you lived a beautiful life :)

What a wonderful woman! Met her in 1994 when I needed help with my wedding dress fitting and came out being so more aware. She had such a sweetness about her. I just saw that she recently lived about 2 miles from me- had I known I would have tried to visit. May she rest in peace.

What a wonderful lady. Such great faith in God and she shared it so wonderfully. She is one person that really lived her faith. She was a blessing to all.

Chicki was one of a kind! Such a positive, energetic, and kind lady who always had a smile and encouraging word for everyone she met. I was fortunate to meet her through Cameo/Colesce and to call her a friend. My prayers are with her family.

The world is not the same without this beautiful lady in it! Words cannot even express how much she will be missed. But I am so glad she is with Barney after all these years. God truly blessed us with her life and I was so lucky to have her as my grandma!
