Marjorie Mosher Obituary

Marjorie Ann Mosher Jan. 14, 1928 - May 25, 2009 Born in Sunol, California, daughter of Doris Kirk and Fredrick Bergen, and step-father Louis Keahey. Marge ( Marjorie Bergen), much admired for her social graces, attended Lincoln High School and San Jose State University, where she was popular and active. Married to James Ross Mosher in Capitola, California in 1950 they were a glamorous couple who were married for 55 years. Marge maintained an active social life with her husband while raising 5 children in Saratoga. An avid bridge player, Marge was much in demand as a bridge partner for her skill and companionable wit. She greatly enjoyed taking her family to Capitola and spending time at the beach house in the Venetian Courts. She loved to entertain and was considered a gourmet cook, putting together delicious meals for her children and grandchildren. Her family will always remember her charming and entertaining character, her sense of humor, and her bold personality. Marge's first love was her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her children Kristin Ann Mosher of Corralitos, Claire Marie Mosher of Berkeley, Mary Elizabeth White of San Diego, James Ross Mosher Jr. of San Jose, and Steven Hall Mosher of Campbell. Marge was also grandmother to Tracy (Geisler) Evleshin, Katelyn Prevost, Michael Prevost, Meagan Mosher-Stockinger, Steven Mosher-Stockinger, Adrienne White, and Louis White, and great-grandmother to Alexander and Jack Evleshin. Marge is also survived by her sisters Loris Yiskus and Susan Cardenas. The funeral home of record is the California Cremation Society. In respect of Marge's wishes, there will not be a service. The family asks that donations be made to Hospice of Santa Cruz County in appreciation of the loving and compassionate care they provided for Marge and her family.
