Martina Lardizabal Obituary

Martina Lardizabal Passed away peacefully in her home in Woodland CA on August 4, 2009. Preceded by her wonderful husband of 57 years, Alberto Lardizabal Sr., and their infant daughter Rosa Maria, her sister Eula and brother Greg; mother Alberta and father Porfirio, survived by her children, Albert Jr. and Christina; loving daughter-in-law, Kathy; beautiful grandchildren, David and Steven; sisters Carmen and Cora, brother-in-laws Hector and Charles; brothers Mack and Nick, sister-in-law, Margaret, and a large extended family of nephews, nieces, and cousins. For 89 years she was devoted to her family and church. She enjoyed her youth living in Santa Rita, New Mexico. After she married Alberto they settled in Mtn. View, CA to raise their family. In her retirement years, she enjoyed spending time with her family in Woodland, CA. She will be blessed with a Rosary on Sunday at 7:00PM, with visitation from 5:00PM at Cusimano Family Colonial Mortuary located at 96 El Camino Real West, Mtn. View, CA. Funeral services will commence on Monday at 11:00AM at Cusimano Family Colonial Mortuary with burial services following at Gate of Heaven located at 22555 Cristo Rey Drive, Los Altos CA. Dear Albert and Christina ,

I was searching on internet and i found that your mother Martina past away. I feel sad and happy in the same time. Sad because we will mis a wonderfull mama , lady and host. Happy because God gave me your family to be in contact with and i remember her as a wonderfull , helping , warm person.We have so manny souvenirs together Albert but the biggest souvenir is that i like and love all your family. Else i was not searching your coördinates on internet because i can not find them back.

Albert, Kathy & Christina:

There are no words to express how much Tia Martina meant to me. "Darling" is resting and now she is up there with your dad, my mom and the rest of the clan. My son, Montana was her "little helper" when she needed "help" getting out of her chair or walking. I think that it was her way of making him feel like she needed him. Great Job Tia.

I love you all, and offer my deepest condolences on your loss.
