Hugs love and prayers to family. I often still think of you and reflect the good laughs and talks we shared with each other. I still have my memory of you being across the dance floor and us meeting in middle to dance. I miss u lots "Ledesma" and miss the 408 phone dials to talk as well. Dear Son, Happy Father's Day! We had a great time visiting you today and the grounds were beaming with people. Sometimes it's like a street fair at the cemetery! Amazing how so many others feel as we do about missing our precious loved ones. Jordan and little Wanbli talked about you and what a great 'tall' funny basketball player man you were and how strong as a daddy you were. Jordan talked about her days of you and her shopping while mommy was at work. So cute and precious are the babies you left with us including beautiful baby Maya! She is awesome and amazing that Pi ! You would be so proud of your children. We love all 3 of them so much. I miss you tremendously son and know that you are living the life in Paradise with all your cousins and grandparents, uncles. What a party! I love you more than life and will see you again son. Give a hug n kiss to grandpa Virgil. I miss him so much too and uncle Terry n baby David! Mike, I'm truely at a loss due to the fact that we never met. However I constant hear stories of your bravery at smoke, and how you were always willing to put your own personal safety on the line to protect your co-workers. I was fortunate to spend some time with your family, they have taught me alot about Honor, Respect, Tradition. Because of them I am a completely different person. You will be missed by all with out a doubt. I was not able to attend your memorial on 4/26/08 but I did have a gift for your family sent in my stead! Reading these last few entries made me laugh, cry and remember... Mike was a special person. His memories are so great with each and everyone one of us. I will cherish all those laughters, quick wit, silly quotes, crazy imitations and surely miss, most of all his presence. I pray his fiance and babies continue on the spiritual journey to heal. I have to take the time to share my thoughts. A day does not go by without a thought of Mike. Listening to the radio-hearing music that takes me back to some time spent with him and I have to say that some are crazy songs that I still see him dancing or moving to. Especially hearing those songs from Cali and remembering how they would pump him up. Many of his words stay in my mind-some as guidance, encouragement, truth, jokes, and can't forget the nonsense he talked that would keep me laughing. Along with the times that he comes to my mind, I can't help but think of his family. I pray they are doing well and staying strong without his presence. I know it must be difficult for them day by day, but I hope this comment lets them know that they are still in my thoughts are prayers at this time. Take care!
