I want to express my deepest sympathy to Helen and family. I worked for Dr. Jorgensen at the animal hospital in the early ‘70s. He was a kind and caring doctor, always there for his patients and their families. I enjoyed working for him and Helen and I learned a lot while doing so. I am so sorry to learn of his passing and for his family’s loss. My love to them.

Dr. Jorgensen was our vet for over 30 years. I remember one time I brought in a dog that I saw get hit on the freeway. The dog was in bad shape so I rushed it right over to the office, which was closed, but when I rang the bell, Dr. Jorgensen came out. I just wanted the dog to be euthanized so it wouldn't suffer. Dr. Jorgensen asked me if I wanted to keep the dog if it could be saved, but I said I couldn't. He said he was going to try to give the dog a chance anyway and began treatment at no charge to me, also keeping the dog overnight. Unfortunately, the dog did have to be euthanized the next day, but just the fact that he tried to help that poor dog shows what kind of character he had.
Another time he came to our house during his lunch break to euthanize our 16-year-old husky. Doing that at our house instead of the office is a kindness I'll never forget.
To his family, our deepest condolences on your loss. We share in your sorrow and extend our deepest sympathy.

Dr. Jorgensen was a wonderful vet. He cared for our family's many cats over many years. I especially remember how he cared for my beloved Dimbu and Agatha. We have had a new vet since he retired but it is not the same. I also knew him from church. We were in the same ward. I was so sad when I heard that he had passed away. I send my condolences to his family. I know that you find comfort in the knowledge that you will see him again in the next life. I hope that your grief will lessen soon and that you will find joy in your many memories of the times that you spent with him. Best wishes.
