Okay okay .... so the Cubbies finally got kinda good... well alright.... nah, they stink! Ha! Wait, your right Them Giants really suck!
Think I'll grab my daughter, and take a little trip over the hill to one of our fav spots brother... that oughta give me enough time in the car to pass along a few stories (the PG ones!) to the kid now that she's a bit older and more apt to take it all in...14 now can u imagine! Time does Not heal all the wounds bro, let me tell ya....miss you buddy! I'll kick a little sand for ya brah! ❤

Nathan was a family member and although we live many miles apart for so many years, we have always remembered him a such a nice young man. We will keep the Wheat family in our prayers.

Maybe the most care-free, happy-go-lucky person I've ever met. Unassuming to a fault and always a smile from ear to ear. From playing Coleco-vision at your house, to having long-division races for fun once we learned how in 5th grade, to frightful rides in your rootbeer brown econoline (couldn't you have fixed the steering, man!). I always knew I'd keep in touch once we chose different paths out of high school, but it seems life got in the way. I figured we'd run into each other one day and the 20 year gap would be instantly erased. It saddens me that I didn't try... Hope you had many laughs my friend. Know that my memories of you are of the best days at the beach, the woods, shooting pool at your house, petting your dog Jessie and hope you're there now. Peace Nate.

Over these oh so many years I have wondered constantly of your whereabouts my old friend...how did I lose touch? My heart is so saddened by such news of the ever smiling and constantly joyful 'Nate'
Many a early morning/late night shooting hoops and hanging on the beach...numerous Reggae concerts under our belts...still recall that 'beater' Van we had sooo many laughs in! Big Smiles and tears are flowing brother...
I promise to root for your beloved Cubbies this year (but only this year brah!)
I've often thought of and Missed your infectious smile and loving attitude on Life my old friend...may God Bless and comfort all those touched by this loss all too soon...my prayers go out to your Family, may all this Love bring some aspect of comfort. Be at Peace my dear dear old friend...Love you Nate!
