Ora Sandoval Martinez

MARTINEZ, Ora Sandoval -- Passed away peacefully with her family at her side, in San Jose, CA on December 6, 2003. Ora was a native of New Mexico born to Aurora and Nazario Sandoval on October 21, 1924, where she was a proud Postmaster for many years. She was a long time resident of San Jose and was adored by the children and parents alike as a crossing guard. Ora will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her adored children Thomas, Nazario, Antonio, Mateo, Dorothy and Joe Martinez, Karen Wright and her husband Tom, Fred Martinez and his wife, Eve, and Maria Ramirez; her eight cherished grandchildren; brother Ben Sandoval and numerous nieces and nephews. Her husband, Thomas A. Martinez, preceded Ora in death. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 9, 2003 at 9:30 a.m. at the Chapel at Agnew Developmental Center 3500 Zanker Road, San Jose.
