Dr. Paul M. Jackson, M.D.

Dr. Paul Jackson was born in Mansfield, Ohio in 1928. He attended Ohio State University and got his M.D. in 1954. He served as an Army Captain from 1957–1959 at the 44th MASH hospital in Korea. In 1962 he relocated to San Jose, CA and started his solo practice in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease. He chose O'Connor hospital for his staff affiliation. He served on the Minority Admissions Committee for Stanford Medical School for 8 years. He was chairman of the Department of Medicine at O'Connor from 1972-1974 and President of the staff in 1979.
He spoke to the community on health issues and taught classes to nurses for their license renewal credit. He spent 8 years working at Veterans hospital in Palo Alto and 12 years as Medical Director of Valley Village Retirement in Santa Clara.
At his retirement he was awarded an Honorary Membership of the O'Connor Medical Staff after 50 years of service.
He will be missed by his loving wife Cherry, his lovely daughters, Robin, Stephanie, Jennifer and his two stepchildren Eddie and Terri. He is the proud grandfather of seven.
Funeral Service will be held Saturday, June 19, 2021 at 11:00A.M. with Visitation beginning at 10:00A.M. at LIMA & CAMPAGNA SUNNYVALE MORTUARY 1315 Hollenbeck Avenue, Sunnyvale. Burial is private. View the online memorial for Dr. Paul M. Jackson, M.D.
