Jennifer Eagleston Cauble, director Stanford Medicine Alumni
January 15, 2023
Dr. Yee was a cherished alumnus of the Stanford School of Medicine. Each year I enjoyed his company at our Half Century luncheon where he told me stories of having worked alongside my surgeon father at O'Connor hospital. He was a man of honor, integrity and service to others. What a wonderful life and legacy

Dr. Yee was a wonderful jewel in the medical community. I was fortunate to "grow up" in his home in the neighborhood with fun times stopping in with Dr. O'Neill's kids time to time. Later during my career, I worked in his anesthesia office, my manager Molly thought so highly of him, as did all the other physicians. He always stopped in with a bright smile, and our paths continued to cross when I worked later at O'Connor Hospital. He was the ultimate gentleman. Even during the past few years I'd see him time to time in the old "hood" and we'd talk about all the changes in the med. community over time. In his 90s, he was still a great conversationalist with superior morals and integrity. I was so touched to have known him and share so many times. Warm sympathies to all the Yee "kids" ~ Debra Pappani-Goodman

Condolences to Dr Yee's Family, he was an amazing man, I never met him but was so impressed with all that he accomplished in his life. I am glad he lived long enough to achieve the life goal stated in his obituary, he was clearly a man of honor, a member of the greatest generation. May he rest in peace.

When I had my tonsils removed over 60 years ago, I can still remember Dr Yee was my anesthesiologist...and years later I worked at O´Connor Hospital where he always greeted me and would always stop to visit for a few minutes. He went on to be the anesthesiologist for my grandparents and parents whenever a surgery was needed. We all requested him. I used to work in the emergency room at OConnor Hospital back in the late 60s and 70s registering patients. I would be the first to see patients and doctors come through the ER door and I can still remember seeing Dr Yee always nicely dressed, wearing a suit, with one hand in his pocket, waving at me and smiling, as he walked through the door for what would be an early morning surgery. He was a very special anesthesiologist to his patients...making them feel safe and confident with his skills and bedside manner. The valley and medical community will miss one of the best anesthesiologists around.
