Resident of Saratoga
Punam Parshottam Patel passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday December 1st. Punam was a loving husband and father and will be missed by everyone who knew him. He was kind, generous and most of all taught us to have an attitude of gratitude.
Preceded in death by his brothers Pravin and Bhailal (Virbala). Punam is survived by his devoted wife of 50 years Vidya; loving children Tushar (Marsha) and Alka (Pankesh) and magnificent grandchildren Sachin and Benjamin. He is also survived by his sisters Champa (Surendra) and Chandrika (Rajendra) and brother Viren (Mina). He is also survived by his sister in law, Hansa and nieces and nephews; Hemanti, Jyoti, Ketki, Smita, Bina, Bhavini, Ragin, Hina, Minesh, Ushma, Megha, Samir and Avni.
Friends and family are invited to attend a service on Mon., Dec 10th at 1pm, Oak Hill Funeral Home, 300 Curtner Avenue, San Jose, CA 95125.

My dear friend Punam has been an inspiration, mentor, and friend for me for more than 20 years. I will always remember his words of encouragement to enjoy life and not to work so hard. We enjoyed many laughs together during frequent lunches for many years. I will really miss Punam and what a wonderful person and friend he has been.
