Raymond Mullins Obituary

Raymond S. Mullins

Former resident

of Santa Clara

73, died Friday, September 24, 2010, at the home of his daughter in Brandonville, WV.

The son of the late Samuel and Naomi Robinson Mullins, he was born November 13, 1936, in Fairmont, WV.

Ray and his wife, Carol Lee Coogle Mullins whom he married May 4, 1974, lived in California for many years until Carol's death, March 4, 2010. He then moved back to West Virginia to make his home with his daughter and her family.

He is survived by five daughters: Catherine Scholz, and her husband, Bill of Apache Junction, AZ, Debra Zaborowski, of Libertyville, IL, Pamela Godwin, and her husband, Billy of Gilberts, IL, Virginia Tousey, and her husband, Danny of Fox River Grove, IL, and Dawn R. Spear, and her husband, Keith of Brandonville-Bruceton Mills, WV; a sister, Juanita "Punkie" Davis, and her husband, Jennings of Jane Lew, WV; two brothers: Samuel "Bud" Mullins, and his wife, Mary of Illinois, and Tobis Mullins and his wife, Molly of Fairmont; sixteen grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Mullins, and two sisters, Ethel Stout Molenock and Mary Dukich.

The Carl R. Spear Funeral Home in Brandonville-Bruceton Mills, WV will be assisting the family with cremation service. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.spearfuneralhome.net.
