To Rena's family - last October I was in the refurbished building that was once a synagogue in Shanghai and I purchased one of Rena's book there It was amazing to be in Shanghai and reading about life during World War II as a Jew in Shanghai. I then went to Mogan Shan and the manager of the lodge had met Rena I believe in 2007 and had a picture of her visit with her classmates to Mogan Shan in the 30s amazing. Rena lived through so much and shared that experience with so many. She will live on in her books.
