The kindness, and joy she brought to so many will never be forgotten. Her unyeilding strength during the biggest fight of her life will serve as an example to all who knew her. Her humility and strength of character should be something we all strive for. If my hug was strong enough to take away your pain, I would start now and never stop.

Dear Rhoda,
We met so long ago.No matter how many years would go by, when we ran into each other you always made me feel like we were still the best of friends. You had a heart of gold. When my husband and I ran into you at Avila beach, you told him that I taught you to dance in junior high, boy did we laugh. We also talked about the talent show and forgetting the steps, more laughter.I also remember telling our family that we were spending the night at each others home and running the streets all night with no where to go. The good old days.I'm so sorry I didn't go to the service,I didn't know.Your a very special woman and you will never be forgotten. There will come a time when we will get to meet again, so please save me a dance.

Lots of love,Leticia Gomez

Rhoda was a remarkable woman. I worked with her 4 years ago and she was always helpful and extremely positive. I saw her in June of this year, we had lunch at Novo and a few weeks later I stopped at Novo again to say hi to her and other of her fomer co-workers. She looked great, I did not know that it was going to be the last time that I would see her. My deepest sympathies to her family.

Our Dearest Rhoda,
You were always our "Golden Girl." Forever listening wihout judgement. You shared, you cared, you loved, you laughed. You gave encouraging words never unkind. You came to us in the forth grade where people thought we were triplets until you blossomed into our Rhoda Doda. We shared Girl Scouts camping trips to trips to Yosemite for Donna,s 50th were we toasted champane, to Solveng. And all of the fun trips in high school to Lexington Dam and Santa Cruz. We can't forget the rides in your dad's truck and your VW to Lincoln "social events." It was an honor helping you with sewing projects to prepare for Janee's wedding. It has always been an honor to know you Rhoda. We shall see you again in Heaven.
Love Cheryl & Carole

I grew up with Rhonda, having lived across the street from her for many years. I have watched her grow from a finger sucking happy go lucky kid into a beautiful, strong women who even though she was fighting cancer you would have never known by her always smiling face and positive outlook on life. Goodbye my long time friend and look out heaven there's a new angel in town.
