Dear Family of Mr. Vega,

We met this dear man at Oak Hill Cemetary where he visited his wife and we visited our mother and father. What a dear and friendly man. We exchanged our waves and hello's on several occasions as we both visited our loved ones. We only found out of his passing while driving to turn the corner onto the street where we turn to visit our family when we saw the flowers from the funeral. We are blessed to have known him only at a distance and only for a little while. We will truly miss our encounters at the Oak Hill spot. Blessed are you family who knew him for your life for we feel blessed to have known him for only the short time we were allowed. May your family be blessed with many memories of this man and happy times that you have had. We are very sorry for your loss.

Dearest Betty, My sympathy to you and your family on the loss of your father. Mr. Vega as i knew him was a lovely man i knew both your parents as the Candy couple who gave out the most candy on the street at Halloween. When i became a parent and had children of my own I continued the tradition of walking a special walk to the Vega's House bringing my little children by just to say trick or treat. I am Harvey and Wanda oldest daughter I have fond memories of your dad taking evening walks with my dad. Mr. Vega was one of kind and we will miss him dearly....

To Rick's Family I would like to express my sincerest condolences. I will miss him very much. I grew up across the street from him. I will always remeber him always walking with his little dog and saying hello. I know he is happier now that he is with his wife. He always kept an eye on the neighborhood.

Hello Betty,

I am so very sorry that your Dad has passed on. I know he is happy now with Bell. It showed how he missed her so very much. I will certainly miss him. He was always watching out for us. My sons and I. Nobody has ever had a finer neighbor than Ricardo. Nobody ever will. I take comfort in the knowledge that he is in a better place and I hope that you will too. My sincerest condolences to you and yours. God bless you all.

I am his neighbor from across the street. My family and I have known him for as long as I can remember. I am now thirty years old and will always remember how friendly, thoughtful, and always willing to help me out of a ditch with his International if I got my Jeep stuck. It will be very hard not to see him across the street when I would come home from work. But I know now he is happy and at peace. To his family I offer my sincerest condolences.
