I made the service and it was a tear jerker. My heart goes out to the Wyckoff family. The pastor laid out the reality of life after death which put things in to perspective. My heart and prayers are with you always- Dave, Rich, & Jill, Annette and family. He was the best father- best husband. Mike Fay

Wyckoff family,
It is so sad to hear about the untimely passing of your husband & father. MR. Wyckoff was not only a loving spouse & dad, but a true friend & helpful coach.
His interest in a person went beyond the casual conversation & truely made one feel respected & filled with a sense of self worth. That is why it was so easy & enjoyable to talk to him.
I am sorry for your loss, but am fortunate to have known him & been able to call him friend.

Annette, and family: The celebration was beautiful, the Dixie Land Band - uplifting! Rich and I send our deepest condolences for a loved one taken so unexpectedly. "Ricky" and David, I remember the bridge parties our parents threw, and us kids being shuttled between houses in our jammies...I would have enjoyed knowing you growing up. The family is beautiful and blessed. Our prayers are with you. -- Sheryl (Hinshaw) and Rich Peterson.

Annette, Rich, Dave and Jill- I was shocked to read of Bob's passing!
It has been so many years, but I will never forget being your babysitter, or Tahoe (and the lost cat), or Jill getting all my old formals from Rainbow Girls and the travel assistance Annette gave to my parents so many years ago. My Mom passed away in 2007, but my Dad still lives at the house in Sunnyvale. I was thrilled to see that you all have families and that Annette & Bob had so many lovely grandchildren. Please know that my heart goes out to you all, but I know you will keep all the loving and fond memories close whenever you need that "Dad support" and he will be there for you always.

Love, Robin Merriam

Rich and Dave,

It was very sad to hear about your Dad. I will always remember his life, his wit, his love and his commitment to you as your father. I will never forget his laugh...I can still hear it in my head even though it has been many years.

I always admired the relationship you guys had with your Dad. It was something very, very special that only a few people get to experience. Stay close to each other, your Mom and your sister and talk about him. It really helps.

As you know he got me my first job at GTE. I got to see a part of your Dad that you might not have seen...at work. He was truly awesome...he was 'the man'...calm, cool, informed and always knew exactly what to say, what not to say, and made everyone feel very proud that we were a part of his team. I took alot of him with me when I went on to HP and Sony. I remember going into his office at GTE to talk about taking a job at HP and he told me how proud he was of me and and then to 'go for it...shoot for the stars'. It meant the world to me especially since my dad was was gone.

I still remember that cartoon of him as the 'GTE juggler'...juggling all those balls in the air with the dozen or so department names (that reported to him) written on each ball. It was priceless. I also remember looking forward to every Saturday night back in high school when Al and I would come over to your house to watch Saturday Night Live with your Dad. Great times. I will never forget him. He will always be with me and you.

Take good care old friends,

Bruce Zelenka

I remember Bob Wyckoff from my days at GTE Sylvania...He was very nice and very professional--yet approachable. I had tremendous respect for him and how he worked with others. I am very sad to hear of his passing. My prayers go out to his family.
