Janine, or Mrs Stark as I remember calling her was my Guidance Counselor at Cupertino High School, graduating class of 1964. She was persistent and caring in helping with so many decisions. I knew her husband Dale and her son and offer my sincerest sympathy.

I always had the greatest respect for Janine and considered her a friend. Although I have not seen her for many years, I do have fond memories. She was professional and friendly and we worked well together with she as principal and I as department head and she as superintendent and I on the city council. My deepest sympathy goes out to Dale and the rest of her family.

I was a teacher of German and Russian at Cupertino High School from September 1961 to January 1967 and remember Mrs. Stark as a wonderful colleague and a dedicated teacher. I greatly regret not having seen or spoken with her all these years. My condolensces to her family and friends.
