Resident of San Jose

Passed away April 27, 2010 at age 90. Rose was preceded in death by her husband Zelig, and is survived by her sister Lydia Motchan of St. Louis, MO, brother Jim Rapport of Laguna Woods, CA, son Harry Cornbleet and his wife Joanne of Saratoga, CA, daughter Joan Cornbleet of San Jose, CA, daughter Lois Hammer and her husband Joe of Lexington, KY, granddaughter Jennifer

Cornbleet of Fort Bragg, CA, and granddaughter Naomie Meyberg of San Jose, CA.

Rose, a native of St. Louis, MO, lived in the San Jose area since 1982. She enjoyed reading and playing the piano, and was devoted to her family.

A graveside service was held on Friday April 30, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Shalom Gardens, Los Gatos Memorial Park, 2255 Los Gatos-Almaden Rd, San Jose, CA 95124. A memorial service will be held on Saturday May 1, 2010 at 8:30 p.m. at Congregation Beth David, 19700 Prospect Rd, Saratoga CA 95070. Donations in Rose's memory may be made to Chai House, 814 St. Elizabeth Dr., San Jose, CA 95126.

I so looked forward to my monthly visits with Rose. She was like a ray on sunshine on a cold, cloudy day. She inspired me to face my day a smile and cheerful heart.
