I will never forget listening to bartender Pat talking to another patron about PS206.
I said "you are not talking about Public School 206 in Brooklyn NY are you". Pat replied how did you know? Because "I graduated from that school".
We were good friends afterwards and I have many fond memories in the Restaurant and on golf excursions.
Pat was a wonderful loving human being and I miss him.

Marcie and all the Pezzella family, just found out of the passing of my good friend Pat. We were in Fort Ord, California, Augsburg, Munich, and Regen Germany together. While in Fort Ord, I got to go with him to his home to visit his parents on a wknd. pass. At the time he was driving a new 65 red mustang convertible.
We also spend some time in Fort Dix, New Jersey, waiting for a flight call oversees. Together we flew to Frankfurt, railed to Augsburg, and then to Munich. Two weeks into our stay in Munich, while in work call formation, he tells me, "Villarreal, that's my father standing in the door of the barracks" where we stayed. Sure enough Pat was headed to Italy with his dad on vacation.
Pat was the only private allowed away from our barracks on the 1st 2 weeks of our 17 months stay in Munich. To make a long story short, we rotated back to the USA on the same day. Fort Hamilton, New York was the end of our long journey together. So sorry to let my good friend leave without a good by. loved our time together.
I would like to hear from anyone of his relatives.

Very few people that we cross paths with, in our life here, that can pass on to you and all those around you the JOY of LIFE. Pat Pezzella was that special person in my life.
I met the Pezzella family fifty four years ago (1957) when Vince and Pat came to MVHS. That High School was never the same after that. The old Villa Napoli restaurant was on the opposite side of El Camino and half block to the south. It became the place to go for New York style pizza. Vince and Pat became my best friends from then and through today.
Pat's passing will leave a huge void in the hearts of his family, friends and mine. Pat was the one person in my life that raised me up when I was down. That gave me the confidence when I didn't think I could get through a situation. I am sure he affected many people, that met Pat, in the same way.
We shared many days, nights and vacations together and the memories will surely help to fill the void. If we could write a book of Stories by Pat Pezzella it surely would be larger than the Brittanica Encyclopedia.
I am going to miss you so much Patsie. I still feel that this all a nightmare and I want to wake up to your laughing face. Rise up in Peace and get the place ready. I will be looking for you when I arrive. I LOVE YOU !!

Marcie, Vince and the Pezzella Family,
I will always remember Pat with a big smile. It didn't matter if he had seen you yesterday or last year he was always happy to see you. One of my favorite memories is celebrating my 16th Birthday in the original Pezzella's. None of us could drive yet so My Mom loaded us all in my Dad's 1950 Mercury and took us to Pezzella's and Pat made me a special Birthday pizza.

We are so sorry for your loss of Pat. He truly was a one of a kind person. I have so many fond memories of Pat from the moment he hired me as the cocktail waitress to when he stood as best man at our wedding all the way in New York. Pat was a great human being who will be sorely missed by his friends and family. Always a smile and a helping hand to those that needed them. There's a new star in the heavens, twinkling brighter and faster than the others. That will be Pat with his sparkling personality. Marci, you and Pat were a great team and much admired. Sincerest condolences.

We go back 55 years with Pat - it all started in Mountain View. You were like family Pat,~my mom, dad, brothers, and cousins, Fidel and I, all loved you and never seemed to get enough for your magnetic personality. And no one could tell a story the way you did. There will be that void in our life now, but I know you are making a lot of people laugh and smile in your new Heavenly home. You are pain free now and in a better place...See you on the other side Patsy. Love you, Fidel and Dianne Ochoa

I am one of the fortunate people that has been friends with both Pat and Vince since high school, they both are two of the upmost outstanding people that I have ever met. While the lose of Pat is devastating to many people, the thought of his smile, laughter and his unbeliveable personality and friendship will live in my heart forever. Pat loved life and just the thoughts of the great times that we had brings a smile, my heart goes out to the Pezzella family and I love you all.

I've never met a happier person.
While building the "new" Villa Napoli in 1976 I'll never forget Pat's care for my cancer stricken dog while he had fought his own battle.
Pat's infamous words, "Contractor Responsible" are legend.
Condolences to the family and may Pat Rest in Peace.
