Resident of San Jose
Steve unexpectedly passed away on March 29th, at the age of 75. He was a beloved brother, husband, father, grandfather, friend and loyal Kiwanian. He was born in San Francisco and lived all across the US and abroad as part of a military family. He retired from Santa Clara County and enjoyed his retirement by participating in Kiwanis events and being around his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of almost 47 years, Maggie, his daughter, Heidi Amstrup and husband AJ, and his grandchildren Lara and Luke. He leaves behind 5 siblings and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 11:00am on Friday, April 8th, 2022, at St Lucy Church in Campbell. Burial at Los Gatos Memorial Park.

Our memory of Steve was tied to Maggie. Both generous, kind souls. We would see Maggie at church mostlty. A dedicated friend. We miss yout presence very much Maggie, and we keep you both in our prayers.
