Grandma,
I feel so lucky to have grown up living so close to you. The memories I have of my time with you will stay with me forever -- vacations (cruises, Hawaii, San Jose Family Camp, house boating), pool parties, BINGO games, Christmas at your house, Sharks games, horse races, sleepover weekends, shopping, and simply just hanging out around the house. You were more than just a Grandma to me. You were a friend as well. I miss you so much but know that I will someday see you in heaven. I love you.
Love,
Katie

Gram, I wrote this for you the night before you went to be with Jesus and I just wanted you to hear it...
I grew up without you around
And now I want you more than ever,
The way you laugh
And the way you smiled at me.
You were always there for me,
Christmas, birthdays, anytime.
Just to hear your voice
And know that you cared.
Honey, I love you
Is what I'd always hear you say.
You never knew what that means to me
And its always in my heart to stay.
You're everything to me,
More than a grandma,
More than a visit in the summer,
You were a friend to me.
You were someone I looked up to,
Someone I could count on,
Someone who loved me no matter what.
You are and will always be
Everythng to me.
I love you Gram and I hope you liked it.

Gram Gram, You're the best. No words can even begin to express how much I love you. I can't believe so much time has passed by. You left me some of the greatest memories of my life and I thank you for that. You always brought a smile to my face and I never got tired of your "World Famous Sandwiches". I'll always miss that. Nothing will be the same without you. Your strength and beauty shone though everythng you did. I admire and look up to you. I think about you everyday. Gram, I miss you beyond words, but I know you're in a better place and I can't wait to someday see you there.
