Thomas Van Bogart Obituary
Van Bogart
Resident of Cupertino
Born July 5, 1929 in St. Paul, MN and passed away peacefully May 20, 2010 in Sunnyvale, CA. He served his country in the USMC near the end of WWII before going to USC where he earned a degree in accounting and became a Certified Public Accountant. His passion was skiing-both water and snow. He was an accomplished skier and won several awards. A member of the AprŠs Ski Club for many years, he volunteered much of his free time as their treasurer and as a board member. A man with a great sense of humor, he will be missed by his family and his many, many good friends. He is survived by his sisters-in-law Edna, Billie, and Margaret as well as numerous nieces and nephews. In keeping with his love of the water, his ashes will be spread at sea.
