I just learned about Tony's death, and was very sorry to hear about it. What others have said about his sense of humor and smile says it all. A good one is gone too early.

Miss you my brother. As we near your 56th birthday the hurt and sadness still exist and will always be with me. But I try to overcome the sadness by thinking of all of the good times we had as a family and brothers. You taught me how to play sports, always gave me pointers and never got down on me. I'll see you in Heaven one day...later Tony.

Remembering Tony and his smiling face! I had the pleasure of knowing Tony since the 4th Grade. I lived on No.3rd St. Tomiko & I were "Girlfriends", Tony introduced me on how to ride a skateboard! We had so much fun riding around J-Town during the summer months, sometimes stopping at the soda fountain or Froster Freeze! We were in the same class together at Jefferson Elementary, Peter Burnett, and graduated together from Lincoln High in 1972. He always seem to have a smile on his face. The last time I saw him was at our 20yr class reunion. It was great to see "The Same Tony" I always knew...Happy Go Lucky! My heart goes out to Tomiko and the Rest of the Nozaki Family during this difficult time. May you find comfort & peace & know that Tony's memory will live on through you.

Tony - thank you for being my "big brother" my first year of high school. You'd scold me, make fun of me, then clean up after me - especially your parents Oldsmobile passenger side door...I will miss you so much! Love you Big Bro, Fish

If I had one word to describe Tony, it would be “FUN”. I met Tony at Peter Burnett Jr. High school in San Jose in 1966, and since we had many classes together we became instant friends. When I learned of his passing, I thought of all the fun things we did as kids. Like playing on the CYS Japanese Baseball League team, and touring Disneyland together. We also road our steel wheel skateboards disrupting our quiet neighborhood. He even talked me into summiting Mt. Hamilton on our 10-speeds; when we weren’t suppose to ride our bikes out of our boundaries without permission. One thing for sure, there was never a dull moment with Tony. What I will miss most about him, is when he would get me mad and I wanted to scold him dearly, he’d squint his eyes and give me his huge Nozaki smile, then I would just stand there steaming helplessly and laugh with tears streaming down my cheeks. I’ll always keep you in my heart Tony.

San Jose Municipal Golf Course or as all the regulars refer to it as just simply, "The Muni" has lost a friend. Tony's smiling face and sense of humor will always be remembered and deeply missed.

I remember when you bought us encyclopedias for christmas one year. We were so excited because the gifts were big and heavy. We thought oh boy! What great toy could this be? We couldn't wait to open them. Then we found out they were books! It always makes me laugh when I think about it. Things are different without you. It is hard to see everyone so sad. Hope you are having a blast golfing in paradise. We all miss you.
