Veronica Nevis Obituary
Resident of San Jose
04/07/1922 - 05/22/2010
Went home to the Lord on May 22, 2010. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, Edward, her brothers Mike and Alfred, her sisters Mayme, Zelmeda and Vivian. She was the daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. Manuel Mello. Loving mother to Bill Nevis and Marcie Coe (John Strutz), grandma to Tiana Coe, William and Hilary Nevis. Aunt to many nieces and nephews. The family would like to give a shout out to John Strutz who was her main caregiver in the afternoon who took care of her willingly and with love. We will miss her.
Friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass Thursday, May 27, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Christopher Church, 2278 Booksin Ave (at Curtner), San Jose. LIMA-CAMPAGNA-ALAMEDA MISSION CHAPEL serving the family, (408) 288-9188. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to one of your favorite charities.
