Victor Canestrino Obituary
December 2, 1951 - November 21, 2011
Resident of San Jose
Victor passed away peacefully surrounded by family after a year-long battle with cancer. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Alfred "Freddie" Canestrino. He is survived by his sister Eileen Marquardt (Ken), niece Sarah Hernandez (Manuel), nephews Dan Marquardt, Christopher, Shad and Joel Canestrino and numerous nieces and nephews. Vigil on Thursday, Dec. 1 at 7:00 pm with a funeral service on Friday Dec. 2 at 11:00 am at Oak Hill Funeral Home's Chapel of the Oaks. Burial to follow at Oak Hill Memorial Park.

Uncle Victor....I agree with those who have said that your laugh was infectious. I too have some great memories of you...too bad it won't be more. You and your brother, Alfredo, have left us much too soon. You'll both be missed!!!

Victor was one of the funniest guys I've ever met, his laugh was the best! I'm so sad to hear of his passing,he will be missed very much by all that knew him:(

I have so many memories of Victor and Sass and all the great times that we all had together. Thanks Vic for being there for my brother when he needed it. I will always remember!

Victor you were always my great friend and paiseano. I am so thankful you were in my wedding. I remember High School, College and all the good times camping, fishing, hitting the clubs and just being together. I love you Victor, God Bless you and keep you in his loving grace. Until we meet again Cadillac.

I am lost for words, I spent a long time with Victor, LIFE was the BEST EVER! He was a Wonderful Man and I will forever love him and will always miss him and his LAUGH! I am so sorry to hear this news. My prayers and thoughts are with his Family. My Deepest sympathy go out to them. He was a great friend to all. He will be Missed DEEPLY, forever!!!
