grandpa, grandpa, grandpa,
I love you and will miss you!
I am sure the driver seat up there has springs, that once again you will be saying "Audrey leave me be" and I am confident when I get there you will finally teach me how to golf.
Love you!

Dear Susie, Tommy, Barbara & Linda,
Your Dad will be missed dearly. We all loved him so much . What a gentle soul he was. I suppose God needed another singer up in heaven to join his choir. Your Dad was gifted with such a beautiful voice. I remember when we were teenagers I would ask him to sing to us. We were all blessed to have known him.
May God bless you all and give you strength in this time of need.
All my Love,
Nina

Susie, Tom, Barb, and Linda,
Our condolences for your loss. You all have good reason to be proud to have had him for a father, as he was so gracious, generous, and gregarious. As a teen, and even throughout my life, he always was a perfect host, allowing me to stay in his home for annual vacations in Shasta, and even offered to take me in for a year (for my senior year at Silver Creek High) when my family got transferred to Kansas, just so I could graduate with my friends. I especially enjoyed his beautiful singing voice! He knew every song ever! Of course, my fave song was when he sang "Whatever Debby wants, Debby gets..." He was very perceptive, too. In my 20's, he could tell that maybe a relationship in my life soured, and he would take me aside, and want to talk about it! It was great, too, cuz it was from a male perspective, and I really appreciated that. He even gave me a book once; he had read it and said it reminded him of me. It was very helpful. I remember a very special time with him...we were sitting on the front porch of his Redding house, smoking, and he was talking about his kids. (I wish I could remember the specifics, you guys, cuz it was really good stuff.) He told me things about Barbara, and what made her special in his eyes, and contrasted that with Tom, and why he was proud of him, and then, of Susie, and what was precious about her. His point was that each were so different, and each had their own talents, and he felt so proud of his kids. This was special to me, cuz I felt so grown upo that he could talk to me that way. (I was in my 30's, so I really was already grown up, but you still feel like a teen around your friend's parent!) I feel Wes was a great man, and had a fun life, and I am happy he is free, and back with his Audrey, and his family. You kids are in my prayers, and may your father rest in peace.
Love you,
Debby

Tom, Barbara, Susie, and Linda,
My wife and I are so sorry to hear about the passing of your Dad, and my heartfelt sympathies are with you. There are so many memories that I remember as a teenager; with your family living down the street on Gumdrop, and then next door on Milroy place.
Because of your Dads mellow character, he was a man that was loved by all that knew him. What I will always remember about him was how he loved to make people laugh. He really was a gentle and funny guy and we will surely miss him. May God watch over all of you in this difficult time and may God help to ease your pain.
