William Siegel Obituary
William "Bill" Siegel
May 12, 1921 - Sept. 18, 2006Bill Siegel passed away peacefully at his home in San Francisco Towers. Born in Flint Michigan, he came to California in the late 1940's. Bill left a legacy in Santa Clara County as a Legislative Specialist, Chief County Counsel, County Executive and as an elected member and Mayor of the Los Altos Hills City Council. He lived a full and rewarding retirement in San Francisco. Bill will long be remembered as a gentle, gracious and intelligent man who was loved, respected and admired by many.A memorial remembrance is planned for Saturday, October 14, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at the Los Altos Hills Town Hall, 26379 Fremont Road, Los Altos Hills, CA 94022. The family suggests donations be made to the San Francisco Symphony, Davies Hall, San Francisco, CA 94102 or Berkeley Repertory Theater, 2025 Addison Street, Berkeley, CA 94704.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
