Yoriko Hirotsuka Obituary
Resident of Mountain View
Yoriko Hirotsuka died on March 1, at the age of 79. As a long-time resident of Mountain View, she worked in education as a Special Education Resource Teacher.
Yoriko is survived by her husband, Roy, her 3 children, Lisa, Amy, and Craig, her 2 sons-in-law, Shane and Robert, and her 4 grandchildren, Kai, Owen, Caden, and Nina. Yoriko was the second daughter of seven children, Himeko, Ken (deceased), Tomiko, Ben (deceased), Linda, and Paul, whose roots are in Chicago, Illinois.
Memorial Services will be held at Spangler Mortuary, 399 S. San Antonio Road in Los Altos, on Sat., March 25, at 10:00am. In lieu of flowers, donations to your favorite charity are requested.

I am very sorry for your loss. Yo was a lovely person and very dedicated to her family and their lives. I remember her dedication to Lisa and Amy and their ballet lessons. She enjoyed being among her teacher friends.... and she had a great recipe for Chinese chicken salad and made it for us. We always loved it. May peace and goodness be with all of you. I remember working with Yo at Castro School for many years.
We loved visiting and having fun in the teacher's room. Yo was very patient and loving to her students. She was dedicated to helping her children master their subjects to the best of their abilities.
Craig , Yo's son worked years with our son , Jeff on the trumpet for years. He was patient and a wonderful teacher
as was Yo.
I offer my condolences to your family for the loss of a beautiful and lovely person.

Yo was a dedicated educator and patient with her charges. She was a devoted Mom, as well.
