Brian Kritz Obituary

Brian James Kritz

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Chief Brian Kritz, a cherished father, grandfather, and friend.

Born on December 15, 1963, to John and Marilyn Kritz, Brian lived a full and enriching life until his departure on July 18, 2025. Throughout his life Brian was a symbol of dedication and commitment. After 23 years of distinguished service, he retired from the United States Coast Guard. He later decided to start a new chapter of his life at Whitney's Peanut Factory in 2017.

Brian was a passionate supporter of the Minnesota Vikings. He found pleasure in golfing, fishing, and hunting. He was best described as a loyal and fun loving individual by those who knew him. His greatest accomplishments, however, lay in the lives of his children and the home he created for them.

Brian leaves behind his sons, Jacob (Justine) Kritz, Joshua (Chad)Kritz , Brittany Kritz. Grandchildren Julia Kritz, James Kritz and Rhendon Joseph.

His siblings John Kritz, Gloria Kritz, Linda (Rick) Morse, Kevin Kritz, and David (Sue) Kritz, many nieces, nephews and cousins..

Brian was predeceased by his parents John and Marilyn (Staley) Kritz, sister-in-law Maria (Corradi) Kritz.

Brian's spirit, his joy for life shall forever resonate in our hearts.

As per Brian's request there will be no services. The family requests that donations be made to American Cancer Society.
