Daniel Squires Obituary

Daniel "Jack" Squires, age 84, of Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at Essentia Health in Virginia, Minn.

Daniel was born on May 26, 1939, to Charles and Grace (Crosser) Squires in Fort Wayne, Ind.

He grew up in Virginia, Minn. He graduated from Roosevelt High School, Class of 1957.

Daniel enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, crossword and jigsaw puzzles, feeding the deer and wildlife, being out in nature, gardening, and dogs.

He is survived by partner in life, Charlotte Mohs; brother, Dean (Linda) Squires; and special friends, Dorian Jankila and Eddy Alto; numerous other friends and family; and his fur baby, Joey.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Grace (Crosser) Squires; wife, Mary Ann Squires; brother, Galen Squires; and infant sister, Mary Anne.

A Memorial Sevice will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at the Range Funeral Home in Virginia at 11 a.m. with the visitation being held one hour prior. Coffee an' will follow the Service at the Range Funeral Home Fellowship Hall.
