Eliina S. Leete-Fuhr
Eliina S. Leete-Fuhr, 49 of Palo, Minn., passed away unexpectedly in a tragic vehicle accident on September 23, 2024.
Eliina was born December 9, 1974, in Virginia, Minn., to Sally (Latola) Truman and John Leete of Aurora.
She graduated from Mesabi East High School in 1993 and continued her education at Northwest Technical College-Moorhead with a secretary/receptionist diploma, where she maintained a 4.0 GPA. She also received an AA degree from Mesabi Range College.
She recently worked cleaning homes and was a caregiver for many friends and family.
Eliina loved and cherished her children, and her beloved dog, Snickers.
Eliina is survived by her three children, Jacob VanDamme (Virginia, Minn.), Amber Fuhr, (Aurora), and Jerad Fuhr (Chisholm). Her brother Sam (Amy) Leete (Palo), her father and stepmother John & Diane Leete (Aurora). Sister Maddie Leete (Grand Rapids) and brother Randy Leete (Duluth), and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Preceded in death by her mother, Sally (Latola) Truman.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. on Sunday, October 13, 2024, at the American Legion Post #241 Aurora, Minn.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting financial assistance to offset the cost of funeral and memorial expenses. If you are not able to attend the Celebration of Life, condolences and contributions can be made at www.gofundme.com/support-eliinas-family-in-their-time-of-need.
