Frances E. Constantini
Frances E. Constantini ,age 100, of Hibbing, passed away Monday, June 3, 2024, at Heritage Manor in Chisholm.
She was born December 11, 1923, in Hibbing to Michael and Mary (Conners) Scanlon. On August 30, 1945, Frances was joined in marriage to Julio Constantini. Frances was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Hibbing. She worked for Northwest Bell Phone Company and for 16 years at Hibbing General Hospital. Frances loved to square dance with her husband, Julio. She played bocci ball, golfed, and bowled, and was an avid reader, a fabulous baker and "made the best pasties in town"!
She is survived by her children, Edward (Suzanne) Constantini, Lynn Haggerty, grandchildren, Chris Constantini, Sean Constantini, Courtney Constantini, Sam (Trudi) Haggerty, Sarah Haggerty, many nieces, nephews and extended relatives.
Frances was preceded in death by her parents, Micheal and Mary, husband, Julio, son Gary, and brothers and sisters: John, Michael, Eugene, Joseph, Julia, Veronica (Rona), Agnes, and Marion.
Funeral services will be held 11:15 am Friday, July 26, 2024, at Dougherty Funeral Home in Hibbing. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until the beginning of the service at 11:15 am at the funeral home. Interment will be held at the Maple Hill Cemetery in Hibbing.
