Gary Goodsen passed away peacefully in Eveleth after a long illness on April 7th. He grew up in Evansville, Indiana and graduated from Harrison High School. He worked with race horses and detailing cars. Gary loved horses as an owner, a groomer, and a trainer. Gary accepted Jesus as his Savior and said that he was thankful that God loved a sinner like me.
He is survived by his daughter, Megan Kennedy and a granddaughter, Kalee; a sister, Deanna; and a brother Greg.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gary Goodsen Sr; and mother, Martha Kay Goodsen.
A memorial service will be held Friday, April 22nd at Grace and Truth Bible Church in Virginia, Minn., at 11 a.m.
