Jean Mann

1948 - 2025

Jean "Jeanie" Mann passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, on November 4, 2025. Jeanie's family, faith, and friends were the foundation of her life. She is survived by her husband of over 51 years, Don Mann; their children Sarah, Julia (Colin), and Brianna (Ed), her eight grandchildren, as well as her sister Kathy (Bruce) Anderson, her cousin, Mary Kay Hill, and many beloved cousins, nieces, and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents Eugene and Julie Anderson and her brother Jim Anderson.

Born and raised in Eveleth, Jeanie graduated from Eveleth High School ('66), earned her bachelor's degree from Bemidji State University and her master's degree from University of St Thomas. She spent her career teaching in the Watertown School District. She and Don built a joyful life in Maple Plain. MN and later Delano, MN where she continued teaching after retirement at Delano ECFE and working with children at the Fall Harvest Apple Orchard. Jeanie's life was filled with love for her family, friends, students, church, gardens, and community.

Remembered for her warmth, generosity, and gift for bringing people together, Jeanie's legacy of love and service will live on in all who knew her. She will be deeply missed.
