He was born July 8, 1959, to Norman and Almeda (Brown) Alsaker in St. Paul, Minn. John spent a good portion of his life in Forest Lake. In 2004 he started The Maine rebuilding starters and alternators in downtown Chisholm right on Lake Street. John spent the last few years buying and selling cars, limos, campers even firetrucks and everything in between. He loved fishing and spending time on Long Lake. John will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
