Judy Gambucci, age 84, of Hibbing, died Monday, March 28, 2022, at Heritage Manor in Chisholm.
She was born Feb. 20, 1938, to Ruben and Jean (McDowell) Ness in Hibbing. Judy was born and raised in Hibbing, she was a 1956 graduate of Hibbing High School. Judy was a member of the curling club in Hibbing as well as Manitowoc, Wis., where she lived with her family for 20 years.
Judy is survived by her children, Becky (Rick) Martin, Sandy (Tom) Folts, Tom (Mary) Gambucci; grandchildren: Richie (Susan) Martin, Jennifer (Chad) Lloyd, Stephanie (Joe Tafua) Martin, Samantha (Kenny) Nelson, Kailey (Peter) Dubey, Anna Gambucci, CJ Gambucci, Tony Gambucci, Victoria Gambucci, Ronnie Cox, Joey Merek; and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ruben and Jean, husband, Ron, daughter, Barbie, siblings, Carolyn Shaffer and Roger Ness.
Funeral service will be held 9 a.m. Saturday, April 2, at Dougherty Funeral Home in Hibbing. Visitation will be held from 8:30 a.m. until the beginning of the service at 9 a.m. Pastor Erik Roth will officiate.
Interment will be at the Maple Hill Cemetery in Hibbing.
