Justin Wix Obituary

Justin Tyme Wix

Justin Tyme Wix, age 22 of Chisholm, passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2025.

He was born in Lake Forrest. Ill., to Michael and Nicole (Blenkle) Wix, April 25, 2003. In 2006, he moved to Keewatin with his family. He spent his childhood there and attended Nashwauk-Keewatin High School. Justin worked at McDonald's in Chisholm and recently started a new job at the Heliene Solar Plant in Mt. Iron, Minn., where he worked on the assembly line. Justin was an exceptional artist, mostly drawing anime characters. He enjoyed fishing, playing video games, listening to music, and cruising on his bike. He was truly the nicest kid you could meet. Everywhere he went, he made friends and was loved by all who knew him. He was everybody's rock.

He will be so deeply missed by his parents, Mike Wix Sr. and Nicole (Steven) Washburn, siblings, Tatum Blenkle, Michael Wix Jr., Jemma Wix, maternal grandma, Pamela Blenkle, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandpa, Peter Blenkle and paternal grandma, Colleen Wix.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 3-6 p.m. Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at the Keewatin Community Center.
