Kathleen Gentilini Obituary
Kathleen "Jeanie" Jean Gentilini, 82, of Eveleth, died Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at The Waterview Pines in Virginia.
Jeanie was born on July 1, 1939, to Joseph and Katie (Umolac) Omersa in Virginia, Minn. She graduated from the Gilbert High School, Class of 1957. She was united in marriage on Sept. 26, 1959, to Thomas Gentilini Sr. They raised their family in Gilbert. Jeanie enjoyed ceramics, crafts, and was an avid Vikings fan. Jeanie is remembered as a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
Survivors include her former husband, Thomas Sr.; two sons: Thomas Jr. and Mark Gentilini; one granddaughter, Cecilia; a sister, Patsy Plesha; a brother, Frank "Butch" (Judy) Omersa; as well as several other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her son, Joseph Todd; a sister, Barb Jamnick; and her parents.
Memorial service for Kathleen will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 29, at the Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home in Gilbert with Fr. Charles Flynn officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will be in the Gilbert Cemetery.
