Mary L. Rohwer

Mary L. Rohwer, age 87, of Hibbing, Minn., passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at Heritage Manor in Chisholm, Minn.

She was born on July 29, 1937, in Park Rapids, Minn., to Clarence and Agnes (Lein) Robbins.

Mary has been a resident of the Iron Range since 1950. She married the love of her life, William "Bill" Rohwer on September 29, 1954, and together they raised a family. Mary belonged to the VFW Ladies Aux 8510 and the Kelly Lake United Methodist Church where she was involved with the hospitality. She had many hobbies and enjoyed her days bowling, playing volleyball, camping, gardening, snowmobiling, throwing horseshoes (a former champion), and most of all dancing with Bill. She will be missed for her amazing cooking and especially her baking.

Mary is survived by her husband; children, Robert (Sandra) Rohwer and Michelle (Corrie) Nelson; grandkids: Michael (Kim) Miller, Brooke (Tyler) Kintner, Austin (Katherine) Rohwer, Candace (Benji) Sams and CJ (Maddie) Nelson; great grandkids: Gino, Novak and Emmitt Miller, Braxton, Paige and Willa Kintner and Millie and Winnie Sams; along with many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings Dean, Viola, Rose and Ralph.

A private graveside service will be held.
