Michael DeBaere Obituary
DeBaere
Michael (Mickey) S. DeBaere, 70, of Aurora passed away Friday, October 3, 2025, at The North Shore Estates Nursing Home in Duluth.
Michael was born on March 30, 1955, in Walnut Grove, Minn., to Eugene and Louise (Loke) DeBaere and graduated from Aurora-Hoyt Lakes High School in 1973.
On September 14, 1974 he married Denise A. Cline in Aurora. Michael worked at Erie Mining Company and LTV Steel as a railroad worker. He enjoyed the outdoors hunting, fishing, camping and spending time with the grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Denise DeBaere of Aurora; son Jim (Kerri) DeBaere of Woodbury, daughter Dawn (Jon) Busse of Cambridge; grandchildren Darren DeBaere (Breanna Walden), Alec DeBaere (Maddi Bartlett), Jack DeBaere, Jaylyn Busse and two great-grandchildren, BryleeJo and Rosaleigh Mae DeBaere.
Michael was preceded in death by his father Eugene, mother Louise, brothers Tom and Joe; and father and mother-in-law, Elmer and Katherine Cline.
Per Michael's request, there will be no funeral service. A Celebration of Life will be planned for the fall of 2026.
Arrangements are with the Landmark Funeral Home in Virginia.
