Peggy Anderson Obituary

Peggy Jean Anderson

Peggy Jean Anderson, age 89, was born to Marie "Tullos" and Fred Bradshaw on November 4, 1935 in Flora, Mississippi. She was one of three children.

On December 18th, 1953, she married Robert Anderson and they eventually ended up in South Grove.

She had three children: Diane, Judy and Brian.

She was married to Robert until his passing in 1999. Over the subsequent years, she met and had a special friend, Claire, whom she enjoyed life and traveling.

When Judy died, just a month before her, her heart was broken.

Peggy died in hospice in Duluth after a short illness, on August 8th, 2025.

She is survived by children Diane Anderson and Brian Anderson, her sister Mary, and grandson Peter Anderson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert, her brother Paul and her daughter Judy.

She had a great spirit and was her usual feisty self right until the end. She will be missed.

There will be a Celebration of Life for Peggy and Judy.

Please join us in honoring their memories at the Mountain Iron Senior Citizen Center on August 30th. The event begins with visitation at 1 p.m., followed by a short program at 2 p.m. Coffee and cake will be served.

We look forward to celebrating their lives together.
