Priscilla Ann Baldwin
Priscilla Ann Baldwin (Penny), 81, passed away peacefully in her home in Embarrass surrounded by her loving family on October 29, 2025.
Penny was born on September 3, 1944, to Raymond and Verna Renaud. A woman of many talents and a devoted community member, she dedicated decades of her life to service. She led Brownies and Girl Scouts troops, volunteered with the Babbitt Little League and St. Pius Catholic Church, and assisted with sewing events for the Babbitt Steel Workers Credit Union.
Her entrepreneurial spirit shone through in her various ventures; she owned and operated the Donut Shop in Babbitt and traveled for several seasons with her "Penny's Fried Bread" stand at local fairs. While living and working on her farm, she frequently hosted school tours to educate local children about farm life.
For over 40 years, Penny served her community with dedication and compassion as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at the Ely Bloomenson Community Hospital and Nursing Home and as a Home Health Aide.
Penny was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Verna Renaud; her first husband, Bill Berg; her second husband, Michael Baldwin; her life partner, Wally Wojnar; her brothers, Raymond and Richard Renaud; her sister, Patricia Auge; her brothers-in-law, Fred Bennett and Jack Harstad; her grandson, Brandon Buschman; and her beloved dog, Gunner.
She is survived by her loving children; Tina Hansen, Billie Jo (Gregg) Mattson, Michael (Tanya) Baldwin, and April (Jesse) Howe. She is also survived by her sisters, Donna Hall, Sherry Harstad, Sheila Bennett, and Darlene Siebert; her sisters-in-law, Kathy Renaud and Joan Renaud; her grandchildren, Blake Buschman, Brianna Buschman, James Baldwin, Travis Maki, Tasha Baldwin, Jaimie Maki, Kristen Maki, Ava Howe, and Autumn Howe; and her great-grandchildren, Breezy Buschman and Braelynn Buschman; many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. She will be greatly missed by many.
A Celebration of Life will be held at her home in Embarrass on November 7, 2025, at 2:00 p.m.
