Priscilla F. White
With a heart full of cherished memories, we celebrate the life of Priscilla F. White, 93, of Eveleth, who died Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at Diamond Willow in Duluth surrounded by her family.
She was born on May 1, 1931, in Ironwood, Mich., to Arthur and Gertrude (Alexander) Waldo. Priscilla grew up in Ironwood and graduated from Ironwood High School. She continued her education at Gogebic Community College, where she received her AA Degree and met her future husband, Michael White. They later relocated to Eveleth, where they raised their three beloved children, Mike, Becky, and Chris, before eventually divorcing.
Priscilla had worked in retail for Louie Muhich, later retiring from Jon's Drug. She loved to sew, knit, play bridge, and enjoyed teaching others these hobbies. She was an active member of Hope Community Presbyterian Church, participating in the choir and helping with various committees. Additionally, she was active in many Eveleth clubs throughout the years.
She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Peterson; her son, Christopher (Lindsey) White; daughter-in-law, Linda White; grandchildren, Brandon (Charity), Steven, Paul (Lindsey), Philip (Melissa), Melissa (Ryan); great-grandchildren, Cameron and Hazel and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son, Michael; sister, Marcia Dahlin; significant other, Aldo Palazzari; son-in-law, Dale Peterson and parents.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 22, 2024, at Cron Sheehy Funeral Home in Eveleth. Rev. Frank S. Davis will officiate. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at the Eveleth Cemetery.
