Thomas Jon Vukich
Thomas Jon Vukich, 81, of Hibbing, passed away due to natural causes on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at St. Mary's Medical Center in Duluth.
Tom was born to Paul and Rose (Repesh) Vukich on April 10, 1942, at Home in Hibbing.
He graduated from Hibbing High School and from there joined the Army from 1965-1967. Tom started working for US Steel in the Sherman Mine in 1967 until his retirement from Minntac in 2002.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing in his younger days. Thomas belonged to the Blessed Sacrament Church. He volunteered at the Hull Rust Mine view for many years and enjoyed having coffee with the boys at McDonalds.
Thomas is survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Pauline Loncar and Bernadine Champa; and two nephews, Mikey and George.
A Graveside Service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, December 18, 2023, at Maple Hill Columbarium in Hibbing with Fr. Bill Skarich officiating.
