Dear Gregory family,
I have been so saddened to hear of Donald's passing. I just can't believe that Donald is no longer here. Donald was a colleague but also a mentor to me as a teacher, and by the way, I am a lot older than he is. He was so committed to teaching and making a difference. When we taught together at Carmel High, we collaborated every day. We spent hours talking about how to teach Algebra I and Geometry. We shared strategies for teaching and strategies for being the best that we could be as contributors to society. We wrote finals together. We were such great collaborators as teachers. Donald was so devoted to helping every child. I learned so much from him and his approach to helping kids who were struggling. He was a real class act.I will never forget that his personalized license plate was Chivalry. How many people from his generation knew that word? Our world has lost a real gem. My heart goes out to the family. The education world has lost a tremendous contributor. I had hoped to see him again even though he moved to Idaho. It is so sad to think I will never have that opportunity but on the other hand, I am so happy that he was in the world for long enough to contribute to so many lives.

My family and I send our condolences to you for your loss. As you endure this difficult time of sorrow, please turn to the Most High God for strength and comfort as his word assures us at Jeremiah 29:12,13 "you will call me and come and pray to me and I will listen to you."
