Marilyn Bruneel Obituary
Marilyn was born on December 20, 1941, in Boise, Idaho to David and Doris (Powell) Frost. She grew up in the Treasure Valley and graduated from Meridian High School. On April 27, 1963, Marilyn married Kenneth Bruneel in Meridian. They resided in Eagle, ID and Emmett, ID.
Marilyn went to beauty school and then cut hair at the Bon in Boise for a few years. She then worked on the farm with her husband where they raised beef cattle and sweet corn. Marilyn enjoyed China painting and teaching China painting classes, gardening, and her beautiful yard. She belonged to the South West Idaho China Painters, Locust Grove then Kuna Grange, and the PEO, and held a variety of offices in all of the above.
Survivors include her children, Melanie (Barney) Harper, Homedale and Steve Bruneel, Eagle; grandchildren, Megan Harper, Nampa, Kenny Harper, Homedale, Nicole (Tyler) Bruneel-Zimecki, Parma, Emily (Jake) Henggeler, Meridian, Sam Bruneel, Eagle; great granddaughter, Rayann Bruneel-Zimecki; sister-in-law, Lillian Frost; brother-in-law, Robert Bruneel; niece, Sherry Aberasturi and family; and nephew, Scott Bruneel and family. She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Doris Frost, her husband, Kenneth Bruneel, brother, Earl Frost, and nephew, David Frost.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, June 22, 2023 at the Alden-Waggoner Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Dry Creek Cemetery.

What a Wonderful Lady! We met her at her farm buying corn at the farm for several years. We also knew her when she promoted the Eagle Holiday Bazaar. I took my Mom to meet Marilyn at the farm. My Mom was here visiting from California. My Mom also taught and painted China Painting. They seem to enjoy visiting, I would visit her yearly while we did the Eagle Holiday Bazaar
