Greg McIntosh Obituary

Greg McIntosh, 61, of the Boaz community in Massac County, passed away at 9:28 p.m. Sunday, March 3, 2024, at his home.

Greg was born June 20, 1962, in Rock Island, Illinois.

Greg was a Century High School graduate. He was an avid Alabama football fan (Roll Tide) as well as a St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan. Greg also enjoyed watching NASCAR. He loved country music and was very talented at playing the guitar and writing music. Greg was currently working as a security guard at Honeywell in Metropolis, Illinois.

He is survived by his two daughters, Mysti Brimer of Sikeston, Missouri, and Mandi Lister of Sturdivant, Missouri; six grandchildren, Dalton Lister, Hailey Lister, Chelsea Lister, Samantha Ulrich, Alivia Brimer and Curtis Eugene Brimer; his mother, Georgia McIntosh of Boaz; and one sister, Rebecca (Jack) Cargile of Ocala, Florida.

Greg was preceded in death by his father, Eugene McIntosh.

Per the family's request, cremation was accorded with a memorial service to be held at the Anderson Cemetery in Boaz at a later date.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home in Karnak.
